True Boutique was founded in 2019 and has been a trusted part of the Langford community ever since. In May 2026, Melanie Peterson took ownership and brought her own family into the fold: her teenage daughter, her mother, and her stepmother. Four women, three generations, one boutique. That multi-generational presence is not just a story we tell; it shapes how we choose inventory, how we talk to customers, and how we think about style. We carry brands that work for different bodies and different ages, because we live that reality every single day behind the counter.
